Youth of India
hum aag lagaade paani mein... paththar pe phool khilayein...
Bin mausam, bin baadal rimzim saavan barsaayein...
India is a great country, and Hinduism is not a religion, but a way of life. At one hand the belief in the God, the belief in the culture, the belief in the values that we inherit from our forefathers keep us away from moving to the negative side of the society.... on the other hand increasing touch with the rest of the world, motivates us to take our nation ahead of them all...
It is this mixture of inherited values and the passion to take the nation ahead, makes the Indian Youth the strongest in the world.
In the developed countries, it is fourth or fifth generation who is enjoying the fruits of strong economy, empowered by their forefathers. To avail the riches of life, they dont have to struggle more. And a major part of the youth is in very comfortable zone. While in India, the average person has to strive really hard for better lifestyle. There is a big number of people, for whom even survival is a critical issue.
But India is in transition. And friends we are lucky that we not only witness the transition phase of India, but be the elements of the giant youth-force making this transition possible...
We have enormous powers within us... we have to realize...
we have to retain the values and re-write the rules...
We have to free our minds...
"Great things can be done only through great sacrifices. No selfishness, no name, no fame, yours or mine, nor my Master's even! Work, work the idea, the plan, my boys, my brave, noble, good souls--to the wheel, to the wheel put your shoulders! Stop not to look back for name, or fame, or any such nonsense. Throw self overboard and work. Remember: "The grass when made into a rope by being joined together can even chain a mad elephant." The Lord's blessings on you all! His power be in you all--as I believe it is already." - Swami Vivekanand
