Movie Review: Rann


Many times I doubt the authenticity of the news being aired on the news channels, we all do in fact. Whatever the story is we many times find some "Milibhagat" in it. Rann showcases 1 of such manipulated stories.

The story is very much predictable. But RGV has not disappointed me this time, I liked the casting, acting of all the actors and most is the seriousness of the issue maintained throughout the movie. BigB's facial expressions in some scenes are like, only the Shahenshah can do that.

Overall it is a good movie, and it really left me thinking, if even the media is un-authenticated, whether it is news paper or TV channel, whom the people can really trust? Or is it really important for the people to get authenticated news? Or the people want only entertainment anyhow? On watching a news of death of 20 innocent people somewhere in bomb-blast, the stupid common man will do ohhhhh ahhhhhh alaaaasss, very bad, very bad for a minute and then the next minute, tune Ztv and watch Salmankhan fighting with all the villains and get satisfied that Salman's fighting for us, we dont need to worry, let's watch Mtv Roadies.

A single movie exposing a wrong practice will never solve the problem from the root, but will let some people think the way I thought, and perhaps will stop me and them from taking a wrong decision someday.
